What we can offer
We offer anything from Dry Hire of our venue, through to the complete planning of your wedding reception. We work with our couples to help them work out how much help they might be looking for (if any), and what parts of the organisation we could take off their hands.
We pride ourselves on being as flexible and accommodating as we can – and usually anything is possible.
Our venue can be hired on a dry hire basis, giving you exclusive use of the venue for the weekend of your wedding celebrations. You are very welcome to bring in any of your own suppliers, however, we have found that many of our couples find it helpful to use us to organise some parts of the celebration on their behalf. This could include anything from toilets, power supply or the marquee, through to unique drinks vendors and creative caterers. We have a great team of local trusted suppliers all of who tell us that they love coming back to our venue.
Although our premises are not licenced for legal ceremonies, there is of course still the option to have a blessing or non legal ceremony. We have in the past worked with a lovely humanist celebrant and we also have a great relationship with the local vicar whom is only too happy to meet with any couples who would like to consider having a church wedding at one of our neighbouring churches.
There can be lots to think about when creating a country wedding in a remote location – so we’ve put a little list together to help you get started.
Our location means that you are free to party late into the night, with no curfew. And for those who are keen, couples and their guests are very welcome to camp overnight to really make the most of the celebrations (this is all included as part of our Dry Hire cost). We’ve also recently started providing bacon butties and a cuppa in the mornings for our intrepid campers – which seems to go down very well!
